Blondel SILENOU est diplômé en communication. Journaliste environnementaliste, il a tour à tour travaillé pour le Magazine VICE-VERSA (francophonie et diversité culturelle), ÔFEMININ, et Tribune Verte.
Il traine derrière lui forte expérience dans le domaine organisationnel et événementiel. A ce titre, il à participé à l’élaboration du concept Hiphop révélation, et travaillé au sein de différentes cellules de communication pour d’important événements culturelles et festivals. Ancien directeur du développement et de communication pour l’ONG Action pour la Diffusion de la Francophonie(ADIF), il est secrétaire générale de l’Association des Jeunes des Nations unies au Cameroun. Professionnel du développement communautaire, il est depuis bien trois ans responsables de la communication du Projet Organisation et Développement des Communautés. Militant depuis sa tendre enfance, il fait son initiation dans le mouvement scout. Aujourd’ hui, Blondel est Président de Conseil d’Administration de l’ONG Jeunes Volontaires pour l’Environnement au Cameroun.
Au regard des nombreuses difficultés d’accès à l’eau que subissent les populations dans son pays, Blondel s’est engagé depuis quelques années dans un combat, celui de l’accès à l’eau pour tous. Il porte une attention particulière aux populations locales. La problématique du changement climatique le préoccupe au premier chef, il contribue à l’éducation et à la formation des jeunes sur les questions y relatives, il est le coordonnateur en Afrique Centrale de l’African Youth Initiative on Climate Change(AYICC) un réseau panafricain de jeunes qui lutte contre les changements climatiques en Afrique. Enthousiaste et plein d’énergie, il s’est engagé comme volontaire pour la caravane climatique avec Greenpeace. Il est technicien en énergie solaire.
Jeunes leaders engagé et passionné, il est un talentueux animateur radio, on lui reconnait un style et une verve d’exception. Blondel est Civil Society influencer pour la campagne The world we want et MYworld partners pour l’enquete mondiale des Nations Unies, point focal du groupe majeur des enfants et des jeunes de la convention cadre des Nations unies pour le développement durable, Il aime les voyages et la musique.
