We are well versed with rating agency requirements for commercial mortgage-backed securities and the corollary requirements of the marketplace for syndicated facilities, participations, mezzanine debt, preferred equity and restructurings of whole loans into senior and subordinate tranches. We also routinely represent our capital markets clients in providing committed facilities to support corporate acquisitions of REITs or other real estate operating or holding companies and in engineering syndications or other dispositions of such commitments.
Institutional Development Practice
The Real Estate practice represents domestic and foreign institutional investors and investment banks in connection with the acquisition, sale, development, rehabilitation, and construction of all types of commercial, industrial, residential, retail, and hotel properties. We also represent financial institutions and operating companies in sale-leaseback transactions and lease-financing arrangements.
