Blagnac 2012 - maintenantI am currently working in the FHS Engineering team dedicated to Technical & Operational Support for the airlines that subcontract their maintenance to Airbus.
My role is to follow and manage component reliability as well as optimise pool management.
My customer: Singapore Airlines for the A330 fleet (27 aircraft).
1) Airline Operations Support:
- Provide daily support to monitor component performance and launch corrective actions,
- Evaluate embodiment of modifications and coordinate customer approval,
- Make quaterly technical review in singapore to present component performance on SIA contract.
2) Perform technico-economical analysis and follow-up in operations for all the activities related to components :
o Monitor component removals and analysis reasons for removal of Top Removed Components (in volume, vs GMTBUR and worldwide fleet MTBUR, NFF rate…)
o Identify technical solutions to reduce removal rates and communicate them to FHS pool management team and/or customer.
3) Component performance improvement:
- For troublemakers, action plans worked with Airbus Support Engineering & OEMs to set up corrective action plans,
- Action plans resulting in component modifications, documentation modification, maintenance recommendations,
- Evaluate modifications & maintenance recommendations proposed to FHS/TSP customers for approval and when a modification is decided to be embodied by SB SCAN process, hand over the retrofit plan set up to pool management team.
- Take the lead to resolve complex operational situations when requested to do so by the FHS Pool management back office team.
