I have been working for four years at PwC : two years in Paris as a Supervisor Auditor specialized in Small and Mid-Tier companies from various industries (Manufacturing, Retail, Services), and two years in Marseille as a junior auditor.
The most of my clients in Paris are French subsidiaries of international groups reporting under international standards. In Marseille, I was working for the following clients: STMicroelectronics (SoX compliant), Soitec, Inside Secure, Homelidays and Voyage Privé.
During these for years, the main tasks I have been carriyng out include the following :
• Identifcation of significant audit risks through assessment procedures, preparation of proposals to potential clients, planification of the audit within deadlines and budgets requirements, management of the client relationship and monitoring of assistants work and training.
• Review of reporting on individual consolidation packages prepared in accordance with IFRS and reporting on local accounts (statutory / consolidated).
• Other support functions: performance assessment for assistants.
Being part of PwC has helped me to grow and has also taught me the importance of both teamwork and working efficiently under pressure. I have gained experience as a team manager, improved my knowledge of French GAAP, IFRS, German GAAP and US GAAP, developed my analytics abilities and experienced working in English.
