2006 - maintenant- Multidisciplinary collaboration between 3 partners for the elaboration of an oriented proteins array. My involvement consists in the synthesis of new modified antibiotics (penicillin-based inhibitors), featuring both a photo-cleavable group and an anchoring arm, as organic linkers between the metallic support and the penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs).
- Coauthor in the writing of a chapter in ‘Comprehensive Heterocyclic Chemistry III’, edited by A. R. Katritzky.
Kent State University, OH (USA)
- Post doctoral fellow
2005 - 2006- Generation and study of persistent carbocations on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) under superacidic conditions at low temperature.
- Host-Guest interaction studies between azulene-based dication salt and crown-ethers/calix-arenes in solution and in the gas phase.
- In charge of two undergraduate students during the summer session.
Université de Reims (France)
- PhD thesis in Organic Chemistry
2001 - 2004- In collaboration with the pharmaceutical Company Cerep SA.
- Multi-step syntheses of original trifluoromethylated nitrogen containing heterocycles, with potential biological properties, from perfluoroketene dithioacetals. I worked six months at the Cerep Drug Discovery Company to functionalize and engage my fluorinated compounds into parallel peptide synthesis and thus create original focused libraries of pharmacophores, intended to be tested on the GPCRs family.
