• Direct all aspects of the day-to-day execution of the project and monitor and coordinate work performed and performances.
• Schedules, runs, and supervises the job site and subcontractors to perform on schedule and on time.
• Ensures quality control throughout the construction process while reviewing the work of the subcontractors to make certain quality standards is being achieved.
• Overseeing project engineering and making sure that targets and expected outcomes are achieved.
• Checking that the contractually defined procedures (reporting, quality, etc.) are followed correctly.
• Making sure that all contractually defined technical requirements and (or) technical standards are properly factored into studies.
• Approving and monitoring changes while at the same time keeping change orders to a minimum.
• Coordinating actions and actors that are part of the project.
• Keeping the project Manager updated or alerted on any event capable of impacting the project outcome.
• Ensured compliance with statutory provisions relating to Health, safety and environment with periodic monitoring.
