Charbel brings more than 15 years of leadership in HVAC product development.
He joined Carrier in 2007 and has held various positions leading development, cost reduction & quality improvement projects on chillers & heat pumps ranges.
In these roles he has gained invaluable experience in market and customer needs, working directly & indirectly with domestic and international clients, defining product performances key indicators and studying the feasibility of customized products for specific applications.
In his most recent position, Director - Technologies HVAC Europe, he is leading new refrigerants products introduction & is responsible for evaluation & development of technologies to be used & used in the next generation of product lines for both CARRIER & CIAT brands. He insures alignment of technologies & products roadmaps for HVAC European Business units R&D centers, Carrier Technology & Component R&D Center (T&C) & UTC Research Center (UTRC).
Charbel has a “Mechanical Engineering” diploma, a master’s degree in “Energy Conversion” and earned in 2006 his PhD in “Energy” from Ecole Des Mines De Paris University.
