En résumé

Smart & creative, "making the web" fascinated me from very early on: my first website went live in the mid-1990s on GeoCities. I studied computer science in Germany while working for web agencies on different projects. Via Australia I moved to France to join Criteo as a web developer and also one of the first employees. Moving on to French Gmaps-competitor Mappy as a developer and then to Symfony-editor SensioLabs as a technical project manager.

In January 2013 I joined the BlaBlaCar adventure as the first manager in the then small engineering team. Ever since I focus on building and scaling the development team by constantly adapting process and integrating new talent. The team grew from one single French five-person team to a dozen distributed and fully agile teams with 30+ people in only two years. In 2015 I successfully leveraged the inception of a second engineer hub in Warsaw, allowing us to scale faster and thus to respond to our ever-growing business.

I am always looking for dynamic and skilled people to join the crew (in Paris or Warsaw), get in touch if you feel being the right person.

    Paris 2013 - 2015 My mission is to "build the team, build the application". When I joined BlaBlaCar I helped accelerating the growth of the Tech team, going from 5 to now (end 2014) 30 web development engineers. Thus I spent a fair amount of my time finding and recruiting talent. In parallel, the team's organisation had to be adapted, moving from almost no to a strict but efficient scrum (ban-ish) methodology. In addition I helped shaping and fostering the team's culture by effectively defining, living and spreading the way we do Tech.
