I am looking for a mate or captain position on an enthusiastic yacht where I can share my passion for navigation and hospitality. Continuously sailing from dinghy racing to skippering yachts since 1984, I work in the yachting industry as a semi-professional since 1996 and as full time professional since 2007. I have now more than 25 years experience at sea and 5 transatlantic crossings on several different yacht types and possess strong sailing skills. Furthermore, I have been managing my own company for 15 years, which has allowed me to gain a valuable insight into client’s requests, team leadership and efficient project management.

  • M/Y Mar - Chief Mate

    2012 - maintenant Chief Mate of the M/Y MAR, a 50 metres intensive charter yacht in the med with 11 crew members. In charge of the deck with 2 deckhands. Safety officer and security officer onboard. Manage the yacht under the full ISM and ISPS code.

  • M/Y Rahil - Chief Mate

    2012 - maintenant Chief Mate of the M/Y Rahil (ex-Flying Eagle), a 48 metres, privately used in the med. In charge of the deck with a crew of 2 deckhands, the full ISM and ISPS, SSO and safety officer. Join the yacht for the refit in Holland, delivery and start of the season in the French riviera.

  • S/Y Phocea - Chief Mate

    2012 - maintenant Chief Mate of the S/Y Phocea, a 75 metres, 4 masts yacht originally build in 1986 for racing. In charge of the Deck department with 2 officers and 3 deckhands. Responsible of the rigging and sails. Maintenance of the full ISM and ISPS. Electronics and audio- visual equipments. SSO and safety officer.

  • S/Y Dapsang - Captain

    2010 - 2011 Captain of S/Y Dapsang (ex-Spiip), a CNB 77 custom sloop (23 metres) with a crew of 2. After a 3 months shipyard in France, we crossed the Atlantic and cruise for 8 consecutive months in the Caribbean then crossed back to the Mediterranean for the summer season. During this time we sail with the owner and guests full time on board.

  • S/Y Idle - First Mate / Relief Captain

    2009 - 2010 For the same owner of M/Y Multiple, I moved on his S/Y IDLE, a 32 metres CNB sailing yacht, as First Mate/Engineer then Relief Captain in charge of the deck, sails, engines and IT/AV on board. Since then, the yacht cruised in France, Italy, Greece, Turkey , Caribbean islands, Panama, the Galapagos islands and did two transatlantic crossings.

  • M/Y Multiple - Bosun and IT/AV officer

    2008 - 2009 Bosun and IT/AV officer on board of M/Y Multiple (50m), in charge of deck duties, navigational bridge watch. Responsible for all the electronics on board (satellites systems, navigation equipment, networks and computers, AV and multimedia systems). Tenders driving (Novurania/HamiltonJet) and dinghy sailing instructor.
