I am currently working for Sopra Group as a Dependability expert. My present mission regards information security at Airbus.
My previous experience was as the safety technical coordinator for Aeroconseil (Toulouse - France). I was in charge of supporting all the safety activities in Aeroconseil.
My activities included:
• Writing of safety process and procedures at system level for A/C manufacturer (MITAC)
• Coordination activities for the writing of safety documents for all the systems of the A/C
• Support the design teams with the safety methodology aspects
• Supporting of A/C manufacturer on safety assessment meetings with authorities (JCAB, FAA,EASA)
• Safety process implementation support for A/C at system level according to ARP4761
o Description of the Safety process steps
o Description of reports to produce
o Correspondence between safety and system development steps
• Application of clients specific safety procedures
• Analyzes for compliance demonstration to standards or CRI
• Cross-functional role in support to system designers teams
o Ad hoc assistance in methodology
o Safety documents/reports review
o Help in the development of competencies
I have a PhD in dependability which allowed me to acquire solid knowledge in dependability (theory and research). It also taught me autonomy in my work and management of priorities. I have a good organizational capacity (identification and distribution of tasks, planning) and an ability to swiftly integrate new teams or on-going projects.
I was a former lecturer involved in both teaching and research. This previous experience gave me an ability to easily communicate my knowledge and know-how in support to system designers’ teams regarding safety (or dependability) questions.
