Paris2012 - maintenantAs a R&D IS CAx and ETDI (Data exchange) solution centers Manager, I am reporting to Valeo Group R&D IS organization.
In accordance with the Group R&D IS strategy, my main mission is to manage the group standard computer aided solutions (mechanic/Catia,)
I am focused on the improvement of tools standardization, quality of solutions, and efficiency (systems performances, availability, and support).
My missions are:
Group CAx solutions build and delivery
• Standardization of Cax Architecture and distribution process
• Distribute Catia V5 OEM environments to Valeo BG
• Define and deliver standard for CAx solutions
• Define and maintain standard and procedure for technical operations
• Manage group platforms and technical administration of systems related to CAx solutions
• Ensure inter-operability with others IS landscape systems (integration with PLMs, integration with eCAD libraries, integration with QChecker, etc.)
Manage quality of service (availability, performance, incident)
• Define and implement process to manage technical incident, bugs and evolutions on CAx solutions
• Ensure solution availability at central level and contribute to availability at site level with BGs R&D IS
• Define, set up and follow SLA and SLO related to group CAx solutions, and provide reporting/KPIs
Provide expertise and support
• Provide technical expertise and support to BG R&D IS
• Provide standard training material and platform/tools
• Promote technical best practices as standard
Manage and coordinate networks and actors (internal/external)
• Lead the R&D CAx network community (BG R&D IS managers, GTSC R&D IS & CAD technical experts)
• Lead CAx technical committees/meetings
• Manage partners : subcontractors, providers, outsourcers
Technology watch
• Ensure relationship with main software vendors
• Manage evaluation of new solutions and tools (proof of concept, prototype)
CAx licensing management
• Define, build and maintain standard licensing tracking tools
• Supervise licensing consumption and provide reports
Software contract management
• Contribute to corporate contract definition and negotiation
• Ensure Valeo compliancy towards software vendors contract
