    2014 - maintenant Project Control Area Coordinator for Indonesia, managing 40+ persons performing Project Control activities on both tenders and projects in execution for all activities of PT SAIPEM INDONESIA (Jakarta offices and Karimun yard).
    Main focus areas are:
    • Follow-up and development of PTSI Project Control staff;
    • Recruitment of new staff (young graduates and more expert project controllers), interfacing with local HR;
    • Implementation of Corporate Project Control procedures and methodologies;
    • Support to Tendering, mostly for preparation of Schedules and Project Control narratives;
    • Follow-up of Projects in execution;
    • Interface with SIKB Karimun Yard Project Control Team.
  • PT SAIPEM INDONESIA - Project Control Manager

    2014 - maintenant JANGKRIK FPU PROJECT (ENI Muara Bakau BV, Indonesia) : LSTK contract (~ 1,100 M USD), in Consortium with HHI, for a barge-shaped FPU (450 MMSCFD Produced Gas, 4,400 BPD Condensate, 17,000 tons of Topsides) performing full offshore process and exporting treated gas and stabilised condensate onshore.
    Member of the Project Management Team based in Jakarta, in charge of all project control activities, directly managing a team of 20 persons.

    • Complex Project Organisation and Management of Interfaces;
    • Tight Schedule;
    • Fabrication, Load-out and Integration performed in Saipem Indonesian Yard (Karimun);

    Montigny-le-Bretonneux 2009 - 2012 July 2009 to April 2012:
    D-ISLAND RIGS PROJECT – EMKI (Exxon Mobil Kazakhstan Inc.) - Kazakhstan (Execution phase – 3 distinct contracts)
    Project scope: The Project is made of 3 distinct contracts:
    LLI - Procurement and Transportation to Kazakhstan of Long Lead Items to be installed on new Island “DC-05”;
    D&R - Decommissioning of existing “D Island” Rigs 401 and 402 and Relocation on new Islands “DC-05” and “DC-01” respectively; Storage of existing Equipment recovered from “D Island” Support Facilities;
    EPFC1 - Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Installation and Commissioning of New Support Facilities on new Island “DC-05”; and Hook-up of relocated Rig 401.
    Member of the Project Team based in Milan, seconding the Project Manager during execution of the 3 contracts, managing a team of 15 persons, in charge of all Project Controls activities, and coordinating the Procurement activities.

    February to June 2009:

    Project scope: The Proposal is made of 2 distinct tenders:
    D&R - Decommissioning of existing “D Island” Rigs 401 and 402 and Relocation on new Islands “DC-05” and “DC-01” respectively; Storage of existing Equipment recovered from “D Island” Support Facilities.
    EPFC1 - Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Installation and Commissioning of New Support Facilities on new Island “DC-05”; and Hook-up of relocated Rig 401.
    - in charge of the Proposal Coordination (Management, Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Installation ); both contracts were subsequently awarded to Saipem.
  • SAIPEM S.p.A. - Project Control Manager

    Montigny-le-Bretonneux 2007 - 2009 2008-2009
    PLCV PROJECT – Proposal Stage
    Project scope: Conception and construction of a new Pipelay and Crane Vessel, a self-propelled vessel (DP Class 3), with a Crane capacity of 4,000 tons and designed to lay pipelines in both J-Lay and S-Lay conditions.
    - in charge of all Project Controls activities during the Early Phase of the Project.

    2007-2008
    GIMBOA LEASED FPSO PROJECT – SONANGOL P&P - Angola
    Project scope: Conversion of company-owned VLCC Magdalaine into a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit; Vessel Refurbishment and Life Extension, Vessel Conversion, Fabrication and Integration of Topsides Process Modules, Commissioning, mobilization on Field, operation (60,000 bpd) and demobilization.
    Member of the Project Management Team sharing time between Home Office in Milan and Naval Shipyard in Dubai, managing a team of 10 persons, in charge of all Project Controls activities.
  • TECHNIP BRASIL - Project Control Manager

    2004 - 2006 2004-2006:
    Joint Venture KEPPEL FELS / TECHNIP (FSTP)
    P52 FPU PROJECT – PETROBRAS – Brazil / Rio de Janeiro State
    Project scope: LSTK contract for a Semi-Submersible Floating Production Unit (180,000 bpd; 30,000 tons of Topsides).
    - in charge of all Project Controls activities, based in Rio de Janeiro and later in Angra dos Reis at BrasFels Shipyard, managing a team of 10 persons.
  • TECHNIP FRANCE - Planning Manager

    Paris 2003 - 2004 2003-2004:
    NEB PROJECT (North East Bab Offshore Oil field development phase 1) – ADCO – U.A.E. / Bab, Abu Dhabi
    Project scope: LSTK contract for an Oil Field Development on 2 sites (Al Dabb’iya / Rumaitha) including 146 wells, gathering system, gas and water reinjection, oil export pipelines, 110 MMBOPD (sustainable) combined production.
    - in charge of planning activities related to engineering and procurement (up to site delivery), and preparation of construction schedule.
  • TECHNIP USA - Cost Control Manager

    1999 - 2003 1999-2002:
    Joint Venture KELLOGG BROWN & ROOT / TECHNIP (KBRT)
    Q-CHEM PROJECT – Q-CHEM (Joint Venture QATAR PETROLEUM / PHILIPPS) – Qatar / Mesaieed
    Project scope: LSTK contract for a Petrochemicals Complex (Ethylene / Polyethylene)
    - responsible for all Cost Control activities of the project, based in Houston until April 2001, then moved to the construction site in Qatar, managing a team of 10 persons.

    OGD 2 PROJECT – ADNOC – U.A.E. / Habshan, Abu Dhabi
    Project scope: LSTK contract for a Gas Treatment Plant and Pipelines
    - responsible for the cost control of equipment and materials (US$ 500 millions)

    1997-1998:
    In charge of lump sum price estimates including main equipment and bulk materials, construction, engineering, in particular for the following major projects :
    - Proposal for OGD2 gas plant & pipelines (Client: ADNOC), worth US$ 1.4 billion, Habshan, Abu Dhabi (this contract was subsequently awarded to a TECHNIP / BECHTEL Joint Venture);
    - F.E.E.D. of a LNG plant and pipelines (Client: TOTAL), Bal Haf, Yemen (US$ 1.8 billion investment).
    Also realization of several studies (feasibility, cost reductions).
