I am a Prime Brokerage business leader with over 20 years of international experience driving growth and performance for BNP Paribas global operation. My detailed grasp of products, services and market trends, the complex international regulatory environment and the latest technological trends is complemented by a proven ability to connect business priorities with technology specialists to ensure effective execution and deliver adaptable solutions.
In my current role at BNP Paribas as Global Co-Head of Product Development for Prime Brokerage and Inventory Management, I have overseen the successful integration of clients, technology and around 900 staff, following the merger with Deutsche Banks business. I have enhanced key aspects of the new business through a change in the operating model and nurtured and developed a global team of direct reports based in Hong Kong, India, London and New York.
With a PhD in mathematics, I spent my early career in developer and quant analyst roles, and maintain a good understanding of the technical side of the job, from the building of complex risk models to the adoption of new technology in the development of faster, cheaper and more powerful products and services.
I have repeatedly demonstrated my ability to drive effective business transformation, overseeing two major mergers and a continuous stream of programmes and projects, keeping the business abreast of evolving regulatory requirements, driving down costs and improving clarity and efficiency while meeting the changing demands of our hedge fund clients.
I am a native French speaker who grew up in Australia, and I pride myself on my ability to adapt to and work effectively with people from different backgrounds and cultures. I have managed large teams of more than 100 analysts and developers, built diversity and grown talent, mentored and developed young leaders.
