- Global Process Owner for the Asset Information Management (Document & Data management process, tools and governance)
- Core Designer of several EAM processes now live across all SHELL Global manufacturing sites, in particular: Maintenance Execution, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Asset Information Management (AIM),
- Implementation Lead for the Maintenance Execution and RCM processes (& tools- see below) across the 11 European Manufacturing sites,
- Global Sustain & Improve (mainly at process interfaces- Maintenance, Inspection, Procurement, Instrumentation-IPF-, Production)
- LEAN practitioner: regular use of SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping, Go to Gemba, Vizualisation...for process (re)design and optimisation.
- Coordinator of a network of Process Focal Points across Europe, Asia, Australia and Americas
Maintenance & Reliability Business
- 15 years in various manager jobs in Maintenance, Turnaround and IT at SHELL refineries, providing an in depth knowledge of the business requirements.
- Electrical & Intrumentation background.
- Multiple ‘Health Checks’ & audits of maintenance departments across SHELL group
- Initiator and designer of a Condition Based Maintenance application connecting Production and Maintenance data (interface between Data Historian OSI-PI and SAP)
Information Technology (IT)/Information Management (IM)
- Lead SAP architect for the global design of EAM for SHELL Manufacturing sites, including interfaces with the ‘Connected Applications’ : Primavera (scheduling), IntelaTrac (operator rounds), TRACK (contractor time management), IDMS (Inspection Data Management System), Smart Plant Instrument- SPI-, Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), Risk & Reliability tools –RCM-RBI-IPF- ;
The beauty (and challenge!) of that period was to be, at the same time, part of the core team designing the Maintenance and RCM processes AND being the lead architect in charge of configuring and delivering the required supporting IT tools;
- Designer of the SHELL Downstream SAP business roles; Accountable for the translation in SAP of the Organisational Design model;
- Coordinator for the implementation of the Manufacturing part of the SHELL Global SAP program (biggest SAP project ever undertaken according to SAP themselves), across 11 countries in Europe, Asia and Americas
- Developer of training materials, including delivery of training sessions at various sites
- Sustain & Improve Manager (SAP ECC6 upgrade, improvements requested by sites or opportunities offered by new releases, ‘coaching’ for best use of SAP)
- Coordinator of a global network of IT super users across Europe, Asia, Australia and Americas
