    Key challenges:
    After the “boom” of the Route des tamarin project (1.6 billion euros) which ended in 2008, to be able to manage the landing of the activity with, in addition, the subprime crisis.
    Main achievements:
    Reduction of the cost of finance and administration by 30% in 2009. And constant reduction until 2012.
  • Holcim - Finance Manager Holcim Beton Belgium

    Zürich 2004 - 2006 Highly involved in setting up the Holcim RMC branch in Belgium after the split of Interbéton (joint venture with Heildelberg 50/50)
    Key challenges and achievements :
    Participation to the negotiations with Heildelberg
    Create a “Holcim Company” after the split of Interbeton.
    Put in place and define new procedures and tools from nothing
  • Holcim - Production Manager for the French mortar branch

    Zürich 2002 - 2004 Managed 2 plants with 40 workers producing 100kt of façade coating and 60kt of dry mortar.

    Zürich 2001 - 2002 The Horizon Project was a Business Process Reengineering Project for France/Benelux.

    In charge of Industrial Process (SAP modules: PP, PM, CO; ABB Lims). Gone live 07/2002
    Participation in the HIP project (SCORE, VESTA)
    Key challenges:
    Find and propose one new organization for a company covering two countries with two different cultures.

    Zürich 1998 - 2001 Financial Controller for the cement branch France and Belgium (OBOURG-ORIGNY).
  • Holcim - Group Chief Accountant Holcim France

    Zürich 1994 - 1998 Managed a team of 45 accountants. Directly responsible for tax and legal matters (tax consolidation, etc...).
    Key challenges:
    Integration of Cedest
    Implementation of SAP
    Reorganization of all the accounting activity of the Group in France.
    Main achievements:
    In 1994, Cedest acquisition followed by a merger on December 22nd, 1994.
    In 1995, actively involved in legal reorganization of the Origny SA Group which resulted in 12 mergers as of 01/01/1995.
    In 1996, participation in the Business Process Reengineering of the finance department with the creation of share service centers and in the implementation of SAP (gone live 04/1997).
