Dominique DENIS has many years's experience working on natural Oil and Gas issues in the position of Project Contract Manager at TOTAL, Direction Générale Exploration & Production.
Over this period, his position developed into increasingly responsible positions involving call for tender, bid evaluation, contractor selection, joint venture, contract preparation & signature, budget & cost control, design, construction and commissioning (EPSCC / EPSCI) including audits, claims, dispute resolution.
His responsibilies were concentrated on worldwide mega scale energy projects (onshore / offshore turnkey contracts) at contract values from 100 millions to 5 billions US dollars (on lump sum or on reimbursable cost basis).
He headed the TOTAL Intelligence Team, to annually audit, the Asia Contractor Yards to check their yard infrastructures and their next two years workloads & committed contracts with other companies, to identify the feasability to take future contracts from TOTAL. He also made recommandations to Contractors to develop their Yard facilities in particular regarding the LNG markets.
He was resident, and Company Representative in Europe (UK & Scotland), Asia (Singapore, Jakarta, Thailand) , Middle East (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Iran, Yemen) for many years.
He served TOTAL SA, worlwide, in charge of contracts on major Oil and Gas Offshore Platforms / Pipelines projects, LNG terminals & FLSO, storage / regasification, and energy infractructures.
Dominique has gained extensive international experience from a wide variety of commercial / contract, and management roles and has played a leading role in developing the Group's Project business of TOTAL SA.
Since recently, he advises as a Corporate Contract Expert to assist Companies / Owners and Contractors / Suppliers, to reach mutually beneficial contract terms for major projects and to ensure project finance and business development.
Dominique is also involved in the new renewable energy's (solar) & in the onshore / offshore energy's (wind).
