As a consultant since 2002, he has facilitated extensively in Europe, USA, Asia and the Middle East, in 17 countries in total. He coaches, designs and delivers leadership, personal impact and management development programmes for major international companies, both in English and French.
As a Partner of MyDev, Don also works with training organisations such as the Oxford Group, AxciomeC, HR Valley and Macalpi Consulting, designing and delivering programmes for diverse international groups such as GE Healthcare, Areva T&D, Air France, Total (EP, RM & TP), Safran, Société Générale, European Space Agency, Technip, GKN, Beam Global, Danone, Esprit, Castorama, Axway, Aelia....
Don coaches senior leaders to improve their communication and personal impact skills in English, which is today a key skill for any business leader operating in an international environment, particularly if English is not their native language.
He certified as a coach in France with Transformance, building on his long experience of living and working in France and his knowledge of working with French organizations. His coaching and facilitation style brings a blend of a deep understanding of the cultural dimension of working in an international organization, combined with a pragmatic approach that challenges managers to choose new and different ways of doing things.
Don has a very intuitive approach, with strong interpersonal skills that make him very easy to work with and very accessible to managers coming from a wide range of cultures.
He also coaches senior managers to develop their leadership, often as part of a formal leadership development process.
He comes from an Anglo-Dutch family, has lived and worked in France for over 30 years and is bilingual English-French.
