Elisa PALOMINO

LONDON

En résumé

Having graduated from Central St Martins with an MA in Fashion & Textiles, I went on to work for some of the most prestigious names in fashion, including John Galliano, Christian Dior, Diane Von Furstenberg, Roberto Cavalli and Moschino. I spent five years at Moschino, working on the print department and designing two collections for the Cheap and Chic line.I was then recruited by John Galliano and Christian Dior as Head of the Galliano Studio where during seven years I took part in the creative process both at Galliano and Dior, in the pret-a-porter and haute-couture, womenswear, menswear and accessories collections. In 2007, I joined Roberto Cavalli as Studio Director before moving to New York in 2008 to work for three years with Diane Von Furstenberg as the Vice President of Design working on womenswear, accesories and Home.
Having collaborated with leading luxury labels, I decided to launch my own label in February 2010, during New York Fashion Week. I worked on my own label for five consecutive seasons showing during New York, Milan, Rome, Madrid and London Fashion Week. Since 2012 I offer creative consulting for design-oriented companies in the fields of home, fashion and accessories.
At the same time I have developed my other interest which is teaching and I have inspired a new generation of fashion designers and fashion professionals through my work at University and with studio interns at Polimoda, Florence; the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen; San Francisco’s Academy of Art University; the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York; Shenkar University, Tel Aviv; BIFT, Beijing; Seville University, IED, Madrid; and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, Prague.
Since 2012 I direct the Fashion Print department at Central St Martins College of Art. As pathway leader for Fashion Print at C. St Martins, I have brought a passion as well as discipline from my years of industry experience.
