En résumé

Educated as a papermaking engineer, I simply love the raw materials, their production process, and their specifications.
So after being during 3 years a process engineer, I moved to raw material sourcing, first at a plant level in a very operationnal position. I learnt there all the commercial basics, and started to like the negotiations!

In 2014, I moved to a European strategic position, on tissue business. I developped high communication agility in this new job, while I became negociation expert. Be agile is really what I like, deal with different suppliers, colleagues, cultures, strategies.

As I was eager to learn more, I started last year to work on a global scale, and added specialty non woven to my categories. A new market to discover and many things to learn!

Last but not least, I can now speak German (Work in Progress ;-) but still evaluated at B1 level!)

    2014 - maintenant - Packaging, and Nonwoven raw materials
    * Scope: 60 suppliers (15 with more than 1M EUR spend), 100M EUR + of portfolio, 40 factories
    worldwide.
    * Development and implementation of 4 different strategies through teamworking, networking
    and intercultural management with R&D, SQM and business units.
    * Preparation and lead of high-level negotiations, for contract up to 20 M EUR /year, always trying to
    find win-win agreements, changing the game when needed.
    * Key-user in all analytical tools, and web based platforms, creating standard dashboards to
    facilitate preparation of negotiations and focus on added value tasks.
    * Implementation of pricelist management process, to standardize them, to reduce the numbers
    of mistakes and ease their publication.
    * Delivering target savings every year ( 5%), even on small portfolios, by looking for the
    breakthrough and having a total cost approach.

  • Le Theil - Operational Sourcing Manager - All materials and services

    2010 - 2014 * Team management of 4 persons, change of pulp purchasing process (-1 FTE). ;
    * Automatization of printed film purchasing through SAP advanced features. ;
    * Best practice sharing on thickness reduction on printed film, grammage reduction.

  • Procter & Gamble - Process engineer & project manager

    Asnières-sur-Seine 2006 - 2010 * Reduction of Paper waste (-1% in Orléans - 300k EUR /year). ;
    * Optimization of pallet patterns and loading patterns for Charmin product. ;
    * Creation of product development department in the factory after SCA Acquisition.

  • Avery Dennison - Process engineer & 6 Sigma project manager

    Rodange 2004 - 2006 Avery Dennison, Global manufacturing company

    Process engineer and 6 Sigma project manager
    * Project manager for the installation and the start-up of a Web Inspection system on a high speed
    coater.
    * Improvement of winding on the fastest coater thanks to numerical simulation.
