    In SAS France, a new piece that we’re starting to make available to customers is what we’re calling Premium Support.
    Whereas we are generally problem-focused, Premium Support will be more customer-focused.
    Some customers have been asking for a service like this, and for those customers who subscribe and pay the associated fee, we will offer a more focused level of support. Premium Support customers will have a single point of contact – a Technical Account Manager (TAM) – for their tech support needs.

    The TAM works with the customer to provide a point of coordination for issue resolution, escalations, planning needs for software upgrades and maintenance releases, and other technical activities that will benefit the customer in their use of SAS software. The TAM will also coordinate the conversations among the people who need to work together to address the customer’s issue.
