    Paris 2014 - maintenant • Technical governance of all subsurface (from exploration to production) related activities in non-operated joint ventures. (Kvitebjørn, Valemon, Sindre & Gjøa). Opportunities identification and technical assurance. RC and EC Representative in the Licenses.
    • Delivery of technical and asset strategies for the existing and future potential fields. Identification of commercial opportunities. Annual business plan.
    • Internal and external stakeholder’s management. Responsible for Shell internal control reporting related to subsurface activities in NOV assets, including reserves booking.
    • Support and provide input to subsurface related cost estimates for drilling and other interventions.
    • Continuous Improvement. Use of CI techniques for helping to the identification of improvement opportunities along the internal processes in Norske Shell. Also, use of CI for improvement of stakeholders management in the licenses in which I participate

    Paris 2011 - 2014 • Reservoir characterisation. Effective permeability modelling with the objective of improving the history matching process. Work in close collaboration with reservoir engineers. Work done in Petrel and PCIM (home COP’s simulator package).
    • Interpretation of image logs (FMI &FMS) for integration in the effective permeability modelling. Integration with fracture identification in cores and seismic attributes.
    • Support and collaboration with other groups:
    o Well planning, including data acquisition plans and strategy on drilling schedule
    o Production technology, helping on maximising the value of each well by trying to avoid early water breakthrough. Active input into the yearly data acquisition plan for producing or injecting wells.
  • Gas Natural - Manager for underground gas storage in salt caverns

    Paris 2008 - 2010 • Gas storage construction in salt caverns, North of Spain.
    o Technical specifications and tendering.
    o Permitting procedures and negotiation with Public Administration and partners.
    o Cost control and economic evaluation.
    o Strategic development for adding value for distribution and sales of natural gas.
    o Legal aspects of developing an underground gas storage project. Identification, analysis and development cooperate strategies about non-technical risks.
    • Development of underground gas storage strategy in Spain. Geological and economic (Spanish gas market) studies to identify potential areas in Spain for underground gas storages.
    • Technical and economic control of a Laboratory of Petrophysics in which Gas Natural was the main partner, especially focused in CO2 underground storage.
    • Technical and economic evaluation of exploration and/or farm-in opportunities
    • Company referent for CO2 storage projects. Advisor for High Management on risks and opportunities on developing CO2 underground storages in Spain.
  • Repsol Ypf - Development Geologist

    2005 - 2007 • Gas Natural Fenosa employee, seconded with Repsol as technical representative.
    • Plan for development and production (PDO), well planning and reserves evaluation.
    • Responsible for geological works for the development of the RhourdeNouss Complex (140 bcm of reserves). Well proposals, technical studies for geological characterization (petrophysics, seismic attributes, geomodelling, etc) and fracture modelling
    • Permitting and technical responses to requests from Algerian stakeholders (partner and Authorities).
