Also UNACTO will play role in green movement through saving of fuel and energy. In the new process it will have opportunity to utilize its donation effectively for project and for social cause in Toronto.

    Mr Firoz Shroff President of Homeland International Inc endows $ 6,000 to United Nations Association of Canada, Toronto-UNACTO to operate in virtual environment.

    Under the leadership of Firoz Shroff as President of United Nations Association of Canada - Toronto Branch UNACTO board took a major decision to move its function into a virtual environment.

    Over a period of last one decade the branch has been facing challenges to survive and was last year in May suspended by the Ottawa National office. After the suspension a new protem committee was formed and Firoz Shroff was invited to Chair this protem committee to revive the branch. With his team of 10 board members and support from United Nations Association of Canada Ottawa Office the branch was reinstated. At the annual general meeting in September 2005 on approval of reinstatement Mr.Firoz Shroff was elected the President.

    Since its operation the branch has tried to overcome challenges funding of which was provided mostly by the board members with majority of funding of $ 10,000 over last 2 years came from Mr. Jeffrey Lam President for 2004-2005 and Mr.Firoz Shroff currently President of four non profits and various for profit enterprises. He brings entrepreneurial skills to non profit and has assisted Homeland International Inc a mixed use community development charity, Sasi Foundation a innovative social entrepreneurship foundation combining philanthrophy with commerce and calearth a USA based to support earth quake victims in northern area of Pakistan with building shelter within 3 days with local material.

    Mr Shroff has experience in assisting for profit and non profit organization to transform them into successful self sustaining dynamic enterprises. Homeland, Sasi and Calearth have joined hands to form a first tax paying entity. Under the banner of Social Entrepreneurship Consortium Inc SEC they plan to assist companies, communities and countries to diagnose intrinsic assets and than provide processes to capitalize their social and economic values to benefit all stake holders. SEC will be funded by Mr.Firoz Shroff and his family, friends and associates both locally and globally. SEC has already opened its first subsidiary office in Texas in USA under the leadership of Dave Nuttall an ex Senior Executive with 30 years of international multifarious experience.

    SEC is looking for partnership with professionals from legal, investment banking, finance, M & A, internet technology, capital market and philanthrophy.
