Since july 2003, François-Guy HAMONIC is General Manager of AKY CONSULTING, the company he created to mainly support mergers implementation, technology integration, business development and human ressources consolidation.
From 2000 until june 2003, François-Guy HAMONIC acted as General Manager for Technology & Projects and as a menber of the Executive Committee of EURONEXT.
He mainly focused on the merger of Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris exchanges, to build EURONEXT, on the technology integration and on the acquisition of LIFFE.
In 1999, he acted as co-Chief Executive Officer of CLEARNET, the ParisBourse Clearing House, which became, the EURONEXT Clearing House.
In 1998, he was Deputy Chief Information Officer of the Société des Bourses Françaises, mainly involved in the sales of the trading system(NSC) and international alliances.
Prior to this period, he was Senior Executive Vice President and menber of the Executive Committee of the MATIF, the Paris Derivatives Exchange, in charge since 1996 of Market operations, Information system and Logistics.
He joigned MATIF SA in 1992 as Executive Vice President in charge of Information Technology and as a menber of the Executive Committee.
Prior to MATIF SA, François-Guy HAMONIC served as Vice-President at the head office of the « GROUPE des BANQUES POPULAIRES », group of regional banks in France where he acted as a internal consultant on merging computer centres and banks, and as Chief Information Officer.
He started with BRITISH PETROLEUM in Paris in 1969, working for ten years in software and facilities management.
Born in Paris in 1945, François-Guy HAMONIC obtained a Master in Information Technology and Business Management at Paris University and is a qualified engineer in electronics.
