Recruited as Country Manager, I was later appointed Business Development Manager of an enlarged ALTADIS (net sales 120 mln €, staff: 1000), and was involved into major projects: the acquisition of the #1 Russian tobacco company, the implementation of a new organization and new distribution strategy, and the merger of ALTADIS sales & merchandising organization within IMPERIAL TOBACCO GROUP
- Integration & Business Development, IMPERIAL TOBACCO GROUP / ALTADIS: in joint-team, was designing and implementing the merchandising joint-organization (>600 staff)
- Implementation of Regional sales strategy, ALTADIS. Was responsible for restructuring the Russian-wide sales organization: opened 27 offices, managed >250 sales representatives
- Project Management – Business strategy - BOSTON CONSULTING GROUP. After acquisition of company BALKAN STAR in August 2004, I joined a project team in the BCG and worked on a new merchandising & sales strategy all over Russia. I proposed to Steering Committee an upgraded business model, accepted in Dec. 2004
