My name is François-Xavier Joncheray and I am currently a fifth year student at the Iéseg School of Management Lille and Paris. During my courses and, more particularly, my final thesis dealing with LBO performance, I have been confronted to the private equity world, which appeals me. I am very interested in pursuing an internship in corporate finance, and more particularly as Financial Analyst.
As student in the finance course of study of the Iéseg School of Management, I have undergone strong skills in corporate finance and strategy. I have a bachelor degree in management and economic sciences, a general-interest degree; therefore I am beginning to understand firms in their dynamic environment. Moreover my background in a literary “classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles” has provided me particular communication and analytical skills, and a great thoroughness and involvement in my work. My last internship, as financial controller during six month in the holding of Cofidis Participation, has provided me a first long experience in corporate finance. During this gap-year internship in an international credit institution, I have acquired a practical understanding of reporting, financial analysis and operational management. I also have a lot of team experiences due to my engagement in some associations and my previous work experiences.
I would like to put into practice my theoretical lessons. I am looking forward to join and to contribute to a group for a six-month internship as financial analyst. Such an internship would provide me a strong and sound experience in corporate finance. It would also allow me to develop abilities in financial analysis and in strategic thinking. I am aware of the investment needed by the welcome of an intern; I will bring my whole energy and enthusiasm to the firm.
