Frédéric Favre has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. This journey covers a broad range of segments and technologies, from PC makers (Apple, Compaq) to Telco (France Telecom) and Software (Microsoft).
Previously Head of PC Consumer Marketing and on-line marketing for Eastern Region (20 countries) at Microsoft after having been in charge of the largest Marketing projects for the subsidiary: head of Windows & Office Business Group, Director of Small & Medium Business Marketing.
Currently, in charge of Global Sales in the Telco Division, he is in charge od developping new streams of Businesses in BtoC (PC, Phone, TV) and BtoB (Cloud) with Telcos Operators at Microsoft.
More specifically, Frédéric has developed expertise in three domains:
- Services and Products management in IT and Telecom industries. From the management of France Telecom IP Data-Voice services to Microsoft Business and Consumer platform strategy and sale, Frédéric covered a large array of IT solutions.
- Business Development and Marketing expertise in BtoB and BtoC Sales. Frédéric sharpened his practice in various Anglo-Saxons and French Enterprises and through large Go-to-Market campaigns. His experience ranges from 10M€ product launch to Small Businesses new model of partners engagement.
- Management: since his military course (Ecole Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr; Gendarmerie Reserve engagement) to direct or transverse local or multi-lingual teams, Frédéric had the opportunity to develop a set of people management skills.
Prior to Microsoft, Frédéric was head of Data/Voice/Video Products Group at France Telecom. This included the development of a range of Videoconferencing solutions.
At Apple and Digital Equipment/Compaq, after a sale experience, Frédéric was in charge of New Consumer technologies development and Mobile Product Marketing.
