Role profile:
Reporting to the Managing Director of the Shared Service Center, you will be responsible for a broad range of activities in Paris office mainly concentrating on the administration of the 14 legal entities in Netherlands including:
Monthly, quarterly and annual closure of books and reporting in Hyperion,
Balance sheet and P&L management and reconciliation under his/her responsibility,
Perform tax and statutory reporting together with local CFO's,
Constantly challenge current systems and their efficiency, relentless determination on improving the processes,
Generate analyses of significant accounts and perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed,
Maintain relationship with auditors and external advisors,
Responsible of development of people under direct supervision (4 people),
Act as a business partner with local CFO's, establish good communication channels with the local finance teams in the Netherlands as well as support functions,
Responsible for adequate internal controls and procedures for financial processes for the Netherlands.
You will be educated to a degree level in accounting/finance (ACCA, ACA, WO, HBO or equivalent)
You have at least five years experience in senior accounting function in international company. High standard of Dutch GAAP and IFRS is essential in this role. Experience in local business requirements for Netherlands like VAT, payroll and corporate income tax. Experience in Hyperion is an advantage.
You are fluent in Dutch, English and French.
