Since December 2010 I have been working as a process engineer for the consulting company Ingenica. My mission is taking place in the PDB (Process Development Biotechnology) laboratory of Sanofi in Saint Aubin les Elbeuf, where I am part of the DSP team (Downstream Processing).
This site produce, in a biological way, mainly two API which are the vitamin B12 and the Pristinamycin.
My work has been focused on the extraction and purification process of both of these components, where I have had the responsibility of completing several projects, dealing with reliability and yield improvement, capacity increase, and pollution prevention and water treatment.
From 2011 to 2012: Responsibility of several tasks on the vitamin B12 DSP plant.
• Troubleshooting for yield improvement
• Optimisation of a fermentation broth separation step by centrifugation.
• Creation of a task force for productivity recovery
From 2012 to 2013, Project coordinator on the Pristinamycin DSP plant
• Troubleshooting for yield improvement
• Restarting of a cryogenic facility for VOC recovery
• Feasibility study on nanofiltration implementation for productivity improvement
From 2013 to 2014, Process Development Project Manager
• Sizing, construction and starting of a nanofiltration facility for process intensification
