    2012 - 2013 Duties involved:
    Opening and closing new business clients for the company, managing portfolio of clients, providing them with Markets updates and supporting them in their trading (FX, Stocks and commodities) and investment activities.

    Douala 2006 - 2011 Main achievements:
    • Implementation of a management accounting system in the company
    • Development of Excel (VBA) macro that reduced by 60% the time spent to prepare Analytical accounts.
    • Creation of micro financial models for analytical accounts and budged monthly follow up templates which were presented to business unit leaders at the end of every month.

    My job involved:
    • Supervising the team in charge of implementing the “Accounts Unbundling” project, and reporting to the project manager. This project aimed at bringing about a new set of financial statements (Balance Sheets and Income Statements) per activity. In order to achieve this, we split the existing accounts information related to the then integrated company into its ten activities, upgraded the accounting software and the whole accounting system, trained all the company’s accountants and followed them up during the process.
    • The implementation of a cost monitoring system: After reorganizing the company into Cost Generating Units, process which involved all the stakeholders and the accounting software as well, we were able to prepare operating (Analytical) accounts per CGU, and provide business leaders with accurate, timely, reliable and relevant financial information for decision making.
    • Monthly review of separated balance sheets.
    • Participation in the company budget preparation.
    • Budget monthly follow-up reports with variance analysis for each of the 83 CGUs.
    • Monthly forecasting of expenses.
    • Monthly Management Discussion and Analysis –MD&A (Revenue section)
    • Participation in the monthly Financial Planning and Analysis Report (FP&A Report: from June 2009 to Feb.2010)
