Aged 29, I was born in Reunion Island and it was in this vibrant, multicultural environment that I spent the first 8 years of my life. In 1997, my family decided to return to France, and I continued my studies, opting for a Literary Baccalaureate with a view to developing my language skills.
Following this, I undertook a Bachelors Degree in Sales & Marketing, which combined theoretical studies with company practice. I soon joined CIC, one of the leading French banks on a seven-month mandate, which required constant contact with clients and strong interpersonal skills. At the end of my placement I was offered a permanent position, which I turned down in favour of a more international environment.
In 2008, I joined the IMEA Business School to study for a Masters in International Affairs. This particular institute offers advanced training in international trade whilst enabling students to study abroad for a year; I spent a fantastic year in Finland where I developed a large network of international contacts.
On my return to France, I gained valuable experience in auditing and I now have over 5 months as a junior auditor under my belt – I carried out audits on various projects for a range of sectors, from automotive to computers.
My love of the international life led me to Geneva, where I supported the Ampersand World team for a period of 18 months. This allowed me to ‘dip my toe’ in the world of trading, shipping and trade finance.
In 2012, back to ICN Business School to finish my studies and be a graduate of a Master of Science in International Business Development.
After a 5 months internship and 3,5 years as Junior Business Engineer at SIS Groupe, I am now leading the European Business Office as Commercial Director for the Groupe SIS. My main tasks consist in developing and implementing commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth within the industry of watches and leather goods (luxury).
