I am an Experienced Accountant and Head of Accounts at Bollore Africa Logistics Congo SA. I have extensive experience at the top management level in the logistics, mining, NGO and banking sectors. After 7 years career with BICIG a subsidiary of BNP Paribas Bank in Gabon as Deputy Head of Administration Department and as Management Controller, and after 5 years career with United Nations Development Program as Operations Manager, I moved to Congo and in 2010, I was appointed Chief Accountant & Reporting of CEVA Logistics. In July 2011, I was appointed Financial Controller in Mining Projects Development (MPD), a company of Xstrata based in Pointe Noire (Republic of Congo), a 6 billion iron ore project in Zanaga. Pursuing my career in the mining sector, in May 2013 I joined as Financial Controller Congo Iron SA a subsidiary of Sundance Resources Ltd who holds the Mbalam-Nabeba Iron ore project.
I have skills and experience in financial management , budgeting , planning and cost control, accounting, treasury, reporting, taxes management and knowledge of tax legislation, general administration, assets management, and procurement and logistic.
My education and extensive background within the banking, mining, NGO and oil logistics for Sub Sahara Africa, along with my management abilities, have allowed me to improve financial and accounting departments and functions throughout my career.
My ability to work as a team player, meet deadlines and go the extra mile, together with my penchant for details, have contributed to my successes in my chosen career. I am able to manage financial activities across multiple locations, and am skilled in directing special projects.
An effective organizer and planner with a history of reducing costs and improving staff retention. I am able to interact well with other staff members at all levels, and I pride myself on brining the right measure of enthusiasm into the equation, and a proven commitment to first-rate service and satisfaction.
