  • HoBSoft - Head of development

    2004 - 2016 Since Feb. 2004 Owner/Head of development for HoBSoft ApS.
    The work involves developing software and production systems and databases. The main product is management systems for the animation film industry. One could say an ERP with lots of automation for animation film production. The product keeps tracks of 50-150.000 tasks to be done over 2 years, in the correct sequence by people sometimes spread out over half the globe.

    We have worked on such productions as:

    Ethel & Ernest, Lupus Films (2016)
    Song of the Sea, Cartoon Saloon (2014)
    Kika and BoB II, Walking the Dog (2014)
    Un Monstre a Paris, EuropaCorp, Walking the Dog, Mac Guff (2011)
    Chico & Rita, Estudio Mariscal (2010)
    Brendan & the Secret of Kells, Cartoon Saloon, Les Amateurs, Vivi film (2008)
    Asterix and the Vikings, M6 (2006)
    Cirkeline and the smallest superhero of the world, Dansk Tegnefilm (2004)
    Garden of Dana, Buttenschøn & Budde (2004)
  • HCIS, Project Alaska, DSTL, Porton Down, UK (Ministry of Defense) - Consultant

    2003 - 2005 In February 2003 I moved to Salisbury, England. Here, I started a consultancy company for the purpose of using my extensive experience in transferring analysis technology, developed by the British military, to the private domain. Specifically: Designing a highly complex analysis instrument for fast detection of micro organisms in food samples. The work took place as an external consultant with half of the working time inside the DSTL (Defence Science and Technology Laboratory) in Porton Down, Salisbury, and the other half in contact with external design, construction and production companies. Responsibilities were: Technical liaison, design proposals, contact to external development companies, contract review (£ millions)
  • Foss electric - R&D projects engineer

    1994 - 2003 From Aug. 1994 to Feb. 2003 I worked as a projects engineer creating new instruments for the food analyser marked. The work involves managing "Projects within projects", typically subsystems of varying complexity, as well as detailed implementation. I have taken part in all phases of projects:

    Pre-project: Idea generation – brainstorm; Literature studies; Method – development;
    Demonstrational set-ups, building and testing;

    Concept phase: Concept – development; Feature development; Functional model –
    development; Specification, Software and hardware;

    Construction phase: Component selection; Contact to suppliers; Specifications; Specification
    and test of changes to purchased components; Construction; Software;

    Test phase: Test specification, supervision, execution and data processing.

    Transfer to production: Production manuals, Liaison, Problem solver. Production software.

    I worked on the following instruments, amongst others, produced by Foss in the period 1987-2003

    MeatMaster (Dual energy x-ray, slaughterhouse inline production environment)
