    Key responsibilities:
    • Audit assignments performed in various geographies (Korea, China, USA, Dubai, Russia..) and in all business lines: distribution, Engineering, R&D, homecare, chemicals, diving equipment.
    • Operational and compliance audits addressing procure-to-pay, sales and inventories’ management / supply chain, governance (roles & responsibilities, quality of decision tools), as well as financial audits (cash management & treasury, WCR optimisation, long-term contracts’ accounting, pension funds, guarantees granted to customers).
    • Substantial sample testing of process, controls and IT access rights to gather evidence to support findings and provide recommendations followed up by corrective action plan.
    • Conclusions of the audit review and best practices adopted by others within the Group shared verbally and in writing with the audited entity’s senior management.

    Financial restructuring in charge of the successful spin-off of Novexel, a R&D corporation specialised in antibacterial agents.
    • Setup the financing and sourced the funds (€40 million) to create an independent biotechnology entity; participated in meetings with external investors (European and US venture capital firms).
    • Assessed the assets (premises, bank data and employees) to be transferred into the new entity.
    • Daily worked with Mc Kinsey consultants involved in the project.
