Iain PEMBERTON

NOISY-LE-GRAND

En résumé

Educated at the University of St. Andrews (B. Sc. Hons) and the University of London (Ph.D.) before spending seven postdoctoral years at the Institut Pasteur, Paris. After a spell in industry working on the development of new molecular tools for life scientists (Quantum Biotechnologies and Qbiogene), I set up IP Research Consulting SAS in 2005. The company specialises in the development of new generation protein biomarker discovery tools and methodologies under the commercial name Photeomix Protein Discovery. After 2 years, I stepped down as company president to take on the full responsibilites of driving innovative research. In 2011, we launched the Activomics platform, which focuses on differential post-translational modification activities as a potentially rich source of new biomarkers. We are currently seeking collaborations with clinical researchers to apply Activomics to medical biomarker discovery/validation programs.
