    5. Total of 2,300 employees to produce, pack and sea fret "fresh fruits" with company specialised vessels,
    6. A new very interesting challenge to ensure quickly proper P&L results and fast ROI for shareholders,
    7. Large potential for future developments as soon as actual situation is cleared up...ready to move on...
  • SODEXHO Angola / SODEXHO Group - General Manager

    2005 - 2006 1. Take over MD position of this Catering Services large operation in Luanda for offshore remote sites of International Petroleum Companies,
    2. P&L was in very bad shape with quite big loses,
    3. More than 1.000 employees with 100 expatriates,
    4. Full audit made over 6 months, solutions were clear,
    5. Meanwhile A/Q Africa changed in Paris,
    5. New Africa MD did not want to get things through with clear cut decisions and need for refinancing to allow proper service to be given to Clients,
    6. Remaining job was looking more like a "fire fighter" one with all Clients screaming every day,
    7. We decide to split due to this major cultural mismatch between both parties
  • SOCOCIM Senegal / VICAT cement group - General Manager

    1999 - 2005 1. Took over MD position of newly acquire subsidiary in Senegal,
    2. Restructured the whole structure and developed business over West Africa region,
    3. Reorganised and reduced headcounts from 1.300 down to 500 employees,
    4. Double cement production capacity from 850 KT/PA up to 2 MT/PA,
    5. Grew turnover to 130 M€ with sales increase from 850 KT/PA up to 1,7 MT/PA
    6. Developed an efficient, profitable structure with a stable personnel organisation
  • SCHLUMBERGER RPS-Italy / SCHLUMBERGER TECHNOLOGIES Group - General Manager

    1995 - 1999 1. Assigned as General Manager by Schlumberger H/Q in Paris to go and open a new subsidiary RPS-Italy "Sales & Services" (Retail Petrolem Services),
    2. After business plan, acquired 3 Services companies in Northern Italy, to be able to support SALES of EQUIPMENT contracts to all major International and local petroleum companies,
    3. Reorganised services and developed sales and services contract to become n° 3 in Italy...with Turnkey type operations.
    4. When Schlumberger sold in 1999, the RPS division was n° 2 worldwied and N°1 in Europe...we did not want to stay in with the newcoming US management, ...they went bankrupt after sometimes...
