Manager of a team of 5 highly skilled persons in charge of :
- Access to gas infrastructures in NW Europe: cost planning, follow-up of the contractual conditions and relationships with transmission & distribution systems operators, LNG facilities and storage operators.
- Assets optimization: negotiation with counterparties to access infrastructures at discount prices, valuation of our own assets on gas markets to reduce costs.
- Downstream supply chain: customer portfolio management, from switching to invoicing, in relation with Sales teams in the local branches (France, Belgium, Netherland and Germany), cost control.
- Change management: managed the adaptation of the department to the huge change in sales strategy, jumping from 20 industrial customers to 3000 professional customers in 3 years, and organized the externalization of some tasks and processes to a service provider.
- Business development and Knowledge Management: set-up of this activity in 4 new countries (Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherland, Germany), organizing the acquisition of the know-how required, development of internal procedures and building strong relationships with our local suppliers.
- Regulatory Affairs: animation of a dedicated committee with the Executive Board, to review the impact of new regulations on our activity and define lobbying strategies (cross border allocation of capacities, storage obligations, compliance of the subsidiary with the European financial regulations EMIR and REMIT, in coordination with the group).
- Lobbying: representation of the subsidiary in different working groups related to local or European business practices. In charge of negotiations and talks with local and European regulators.

- Portfolio management and optimization: maintenance of demand forecast tools, elaboration of supply strategies and optimizations through programming of storage injection and withdrawal flows and structured operations on gas markets.
- Origination and trading activities management: EFET contracts negotiations, Front office and Back office management, structured deals origination to apply the optimization strategies. Entitle to deal up to 1 million euros per operation.

- Management of the activity of the dedicated Veolia subsidiary for emission trading: origination, ISDA and IETA contracts negotiation, defined and set-up internal contractual schemes, helped defined accountability schemes, defined the IT system for emissions reporting and supervised its development.
- Analysed the EU Emission Trading Scheme market and proposed strategies for the group (19MtCO2 /year, in France, eastern and central European countries).
- Managed the front office activities: trading on exchanges and OTC, spot and forward contracts, enforcing the strategy proposed and approved in Comitee. Entitled to deal up to 2,5 millions euros per operation.
- Other activities: analysis on European gas & power markets when needed (acquisitions projects, supply of gas etc.).
