    Paris 2014 - maintenant SATT Ile-de-France Innov (idfinnov) is a private TTO (Technology Transfer Organisation) with exclusive rights to detect, seed-fund and commercialize technology stemming from academic research centers across the Paris Metropolitan Area. This territory has more than 17,000 researchers, clinicians and PhDs, and hosts the strongest cluster for clinical expertise in France.
    idfinnov operates as a seeding fund and will invest over €6m/year to finance proof of concepts and prototyping projects on carefully selected innovations. Our areas of focus are healthcare, IT, communication, cleantech and humanities & social sciences (with applications in serious gaming, teaching, arts).
    We are committed to facilitating public-private partnering and start-up creation.
  • Fluigent - CTO

    paris 2006 - 2014 - Co-Founder of Fluigent. Fluigent is specialized in microfluidics and Genetic analysis. Fluigent is now a company of 17 employees with revenues of 2 Million € (+250% over 2 years)

    - Co-inventor and responsible for the development and production of a genetic test for mutation detection in genes such as BRCA1&2, PTEN, KRAS, MLH1, MSH2,… (≈1500 clinical tests/year). Collaboration with various French laboratories.

    - As a member of the Board define and support implementation of all strategic aspects such as R&D strategy, business plan, HR and commercial strategy…

    - Manage and Build the Intellectual Property portfolio (7 patents families)

    - Responsible for 3 R&D projects for a total budget of 3 million € over 4 years including collaborations with research laboratories in Europe and USA
  • Institut Curie - PhD in Physical Chemistry

    PARIS 5 2002 - 2005 - Development of a DNA mutation detection method
    - Collaboration with several research teams in Europe and USA
    - Management of trainees and lab technicians
    - Filed 3 patents and made 6 Publications in international journals, 1 book chapter, 3 oral presentations at international conferences
    - Awarded a Grant from French Ministry of Defense (DGA)
  • Novartis - Research Engineer (trainee)

    RUEIL MALMAISON 2000 - 2000 - Researcher in the Neurodegeneration Unit.
    - Developed a test for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) analysis improvement
    - Experimentation with animals (MRI and brain dissection)
