Jerome is a Senior Finance Executive, with more than 20 years’ experience, mostly in Pharmaceutical Industry, gained through international assignments in Corporate, Region and local affiliates across 3 continents.

He began his career with PEUGEOT and FORD in various Finance roles. Then, he spent 17 years with SANOFI, working in 6 different countries notably as Controller in Eastern Europe, Senior Internal Auditor in Paris and Chief Finance Officer in Africa and South East Asia.

Jerome is a graduate from Bordeaux Business School (France) with a Master degree in Economy and Management.

He has been involved in several Think Tanks and as an active member of European Investors Council, CFO Innovation Group and Pharma Manufacturers Work Associations.

    Main Accountabilities:
    - Strategic business partner and advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, serving as a key member of the Corporate Leadership Team
    - Lead, manage and design the company’s vision and the financial structure and organization

    In charge of Finance, Administration, Supply Chain, Internal Control, Procurement and IT for Thailand & Myanmar (200 M € sales), leading a team of 60 people in a shared services organization. Pilot and enhance the performance of Sanofi operations, develop streamlined tools, systems and processes, help fostering the business partnering and asset protection roles of the Finance team, support BD and acquisitions.
    Key achievements:
    - Turnaround a 5 years declining business into a new structure growing double digit and above market, thanks to reorganization, resource allocation, product launches (Pharma+Vaccine)
    - Reduction of turnover from >20% to <5% by training and coaching local Finance team
    - Development of local talents to Senior positions and international mobility programs
    - Successful interim of General Manager position during 6 months
    - Creation of a Legal Entity and multiplying sales by x4 in Myanmar in 2 years

    Paris 2011 - 2014 In charge of Accounting, Treasury, Controlling, Legal, Tax, IS and Purchasing for West Africa (10 countries – 70 M € turnover). Management Committee member, leading a team of 25 people. Legal responsibilities for all divisions including Manufacturing and Commercial Operations. Board Member of Winthrop Pharma Senegal. Strong involvement in all strategic decisions (BD, organization design, launches, partnerships) and operations management (key projects, cost saving initiatives, budget control, tax risks mitigation strategies, credit management, real estate, divestments), follow-up of audits, risks management and compliance.

Reporting of Sales, P&L, headcount, cash flows, CAPEX and balance sheet. Budget & Long Range Plan preparation, performance monitoring, relation with External Auditors, investments analysis, Transfer Prices.

    - Acquisition and integration of an OTC company (deal value 15 M €)
    - Project Manager in charge of the SAP migration from Johannesburg to Paris: back-office and production go-live on time and in line with budget (2 M €)
