Paris2016 - maintenantMy current role is split in 2 parts: As a design leader, I contribute to the development of new products (Clusters and Central Interactive Displays for the automotive industry) from the RFQ phase to mass production. In addition, I am being promoted to the role of expert in decorated glass fascias for these same products which consist in advising current development and innovation project for future programs.

LEVALLOIS PERRET2013 - 2016After 6 months as a CAD engineer which gave a chance to learn how the company is working, I took over the position of design leader for all the programs coming from our worldwide automotive OEM in Germany and that are going to be manufactured in the US.
As a design leader, I manage everything that is on the technical side regarding engineering changes and parts tuning/adjustments on big external parts of the automotive industry (bumper, fender…):
-Manage CAD (flow/lifecycle/outgoings…),
-Request and check CAD data according to the expectation, customer and PO specification,
-Find and apply technical solutions following PO design rules as well as minimize cost and impacts on the tool,
-Make mock-ups, define solution along with the purchasing / tool experts / tool suppliers,…,
-Understand and use FEA / rheology studies,
-Develop standards based on lessons learned,
-Attend trials and give instructions for tuning

I have had to manage up to 3 design leaders and 2 CAD engineer when the workload became too heavy for a single DL and I have been supervising and managing their work, planning and results.
This position requests adaptability (lot of perimeters, multi-cultural environment…), both technical and managerial skills, fast reaction and good organization.
As a secondary mission, I support the Business Unit North America in terms of CAD (Catia V5) and Product Lifecycle Manager (Enovia V6).

2011 - 2011En mission chez Valeo Lighting Systems, mes travaux ont porté sur la conception de modules optiques elliptiques destinés à être implantés dans les projecteurs. Le projet abordé avait pour but de convaincre le client de la technologie mise en œuvre.
La conception de ces produits, bien que majoritairement mécanique, soulève des problématiques de divers domaines tels que l'optique, la thermique, la mécatronique, etc...
2008 - 2011Au sein de la division Éclairage-signalisation, j'ai été en charge de:
- La conception de feux de signalisation dans l'équipe projet Toyota,
- L'amélioration des standards orientés "mécatroniques" au sein du site de Sens.
