2015 - 2016Initiative Développement (www.id-ong.org) is developing a clean cookstove project in 3 countries: Congo Brazzaville, Tchad and Comores. This project aims to create and sustain a clean cookstove value chain. From the production to the users, ID is working on technology and process design, market chain identification and capacity building to guarantee the quality and the sustainability of the clean cookstove value chain.
This project prevents carbon emissions and is working closely with The Gold Standard (www.thegoldstandardfoundation.org) which labels the Carbon credits generated by the project activities under a socially and environmentally acceptable standard.
