Justin THOMAS

PARIS

En résumé

I arrived in Europe from New York in 1990 and have lived and worked in Paris for multi-cultural, international companies for nearly 20 years. Working from the product development and buying (merchandising) platform, I implicate myself transversally to ensure that the right product gets to the right consumer efficiently and effectively. In short, I work best coordinating all marketing aspects: creative (designers/product development), supply chain (scheduling/logistics), and public relations (sales, press/publicity); I also work comfortably with finance and IT not to mention outside clients and suppliers.

My work experience in fashion, brand integrity, and brand passion began with Polo Ralph Lauren when I started in the Flagship store on Madison Avenue. I continued my career in Europe at the Paris flagship store progressing from retail management, to outlet development, to wholesale product management and commercial sales. While with Polo, I managed both high-end lifestyle and active sports menswear.

After Polo, I worked as a consultant gathering experience across a broad range of business models and products

In 2007, I joined forces with Oakley Europe as Brand Manager Apparel/Accessories/Footwear for Mens and Womenswear. Using my experience in sportswear, supply chain and product lifecycle, I attended to immediate challenges facing Oakley Europe’s textile business unit. I participated with the transition team to brainstorm the restructuring of the textile operations in Europe as a result of the buyout by Luxottica remaining on-board beyond all other employees from the Paris office to ensure the smooth continuation of operations in Zurich.

To achieve objectives, I combine my analytical, technical, and intuitive skills with diplomacy, entrepreneurship and negotiating skills. Wholesale marketing, consulting and brand coordination form the bulk of my recent experience. In addition, I have quality experience in full-price retail, outlet operations and commercial sales.

Currently, I am motivated to review opportunities that match my abilities, talents and experience in a dynamic innovative company.
