    Le Mans 2010 - maintenant External and full-time (one week per semester) lecturer in biochemistry/molecular biology for BSc students in their 2nd and 3rd year. Oversee about 40 students (that's a lot of reports to mark off!).

    Lectures cover a range of topics in molecular biology and biochemistry (genetics, enzymology, etc.) and are followed by laboratory training and examination.

    2010 - 2012 Design and perform laboratory experiments to test the suitability and effectiveness of various chromatographic, filtration and other procedures for the purification of proteins, antibodies, ADCCs, etc. for international customers.

    Oversee technology transfer and scale-up/down of processes to/from Pilot and Manufacturing.

    Ensure that equipment and materials required for a study are used as defined by cGMP and regulatory requirements.

    Regularly communicate by verbal presentations (meetings, teleconferences) and written reports to internal groups (Quality Assurance, Process Analytics, Quality Controls, Supply Chain, etc.), suppliers and customers.

    SDS-PAGE, native PAGE, Western blots, ELISAs, endotoxins detection/removal kits, Bradford/Micro-BCA assays.

    Working knowledge on protein purifications with IMAC, SEC on GE Akta Xpress unit systems. Inclusion bodies purification/solubilisation/refolding.

    “Isolation, production and characterization of wheat immunogenic proteins”.

    Technical skills : small scale cultures in flasks, bioreactors (up to 5L), transformations, mini and maxi-preps. Optimisation of conditions from the cloning step to the production.
