2005 - 2007• Designed and developed components for Nellymoser’s mobile media applications platform.
• Developed complex J2EE applications for large media and telecom customers, including Sony, Viacom, and Virgin Mobile. This covered all aspects of the mobile applications, from the initial ingestion of text, images, and audio and video content from customers, converting content into formats suitable for mobile devices, through delivering content to J2ME and BREW devices.
• Developed web services client and server code to enable billing and vendor support.
• Set up continuous integration environment, wrote JUnit, HttpUnit, JMeter tests
• Served as technical lead on several projects, coordinating work done by offshore resources in South Africa, Belarus, and Croatia.

1997 - 2001• Designed and implemented a variety of new server features including enhanced database support, system management, application deployment, and email features. Wrote code enabling use of the Cloudscape DBMS (Apache Derby) as a J2EE data source.
• Enhanced various existing features as needed
• Worked on port of J2EE server to SCO Unix.
• Served as QA project lead for the initial release of SilverStream’s Portal product.
• Designed and implemented automated tests in Java to cover both server functionality and compliance with J2EE specification for the EJB, Servlet, and JSP APIs.
• Developed automated and manual tests for SilverStream’s proprietary (pre J2EE ) Java APIs for forms, business objects, email, JavaBeans and CORBA.
