SAINGHIN-EN-MELANTOIS

En résumé

After many years of experience in Automotive Purchasing in the Volvo Group, I have developed several skills such as multicultural management, negotiation and strategic thinking.

In 2012, I decided to discover the world of retail and distribution business, taking first the responsibility for a highly strategic portfolio before moving to Stockholm to support an e-commerce acquisition.

In 2015, I have become the General Manager of a Purchasing Alliance between two important automotive spare parts retailers (Mobivia and Point S), based in Geneva .

Lately, in 2017, I have been given the opportunity by Mobivia Group, to spend some time on the field with a local responsibility of the POS sales in France.

Worked in 5 different countries, one of my skills aside business acumen is to adapt quickly to new environment and challenges.

  • Norauto - Shop Deputy Director

SAINGHIN-EN-MELANTOIS 2017 - maintenant Since July 2017, I’ve had the privilege to experience the retail on the field by being responsible of the commercial performance of a POS, leading the sales force team: recruitment, training, frequent coaching, setting strategies and targets on the local level in line with the group overall objectives.

This is one of the richest experience I have had so far giving a clearer perspective on the physical retail in addition to my previous e-commerce experience in Sweden and my different purchasing/supply chain positions.
  • Alianco SA - General Manager

2015 - 2017 Responsible of a purchasing alliance between two important international automotive spare parts retailers (Mobivia and Point S Group)
  • BYTHJUL NORDEN AB - Product Manager (based in Stockholm)

2014 - 2015 Moved to Sweden to support Mobivia's recent acquisition in the Nordics, one of my role was to facilitate BYTHJUL integration in the group by working on implementing different kind of synergies from Purchasing to Logistics, while enhancing benchmark and best practice activities across the different e-commerce activities of the whole group.

  • NGTS - Internationnal Key Account Manager (based in Switzerland)

2012 - 2014 NGTS is a central purchasing and trading office for the Mobivia Group and its different Business Units, having ~1300 points-of-sales (workshops and auto-centre retailers) in 12 countries throughout Europe (€1.6 billion).

Responsible for the purchasing of passenger car/SUV/light trucks/motorcycle tires for the group, I am dealing with major tire manufacturers as well as trading with wholesalers and far east importations.

Tires representing a major portion of the Group turnover, generating traffic in our shops, this new position is highly strategic and drives me out of my comfort zone: while keeping a foot in the automotive world, discovering the distribution and retail business is a true challenge.
