Promoted to provide project management, technical direction and design and build leadership on a 8 M€ project new technology extruder for a PVDF pant. Heavily involve and lead all phases of the project from the pilot trials to the start up.
Plan, organize and implement all aspects of facility project.
Selected contributions
• Followed the trials at the supplier plant in the US, improve the technologies used.
• Defined the process during the studies phases of the project.
• Provide leadership through Commissioning, Start up, stabilization of the assets, and transition of the sustaining operations organization.
• Organize, train the Operators before commissioning.
• Accountable for the Commissioning and Start up execution planning.
• Define the Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and start up Schedule aligned with construction.
• Lead the sustaining operating organization after feed into ramp up and establish steady operation.

Responsible for verifying the control system, checking for validation of PID’s and mechanical acceptance. Handle the tasks of reviewing the control system documentation for completeness and accuracy. Assigned responsibilities of drafting maintenance procedures as well as perform tracking and operating test equipment. Responsible for verifying that the control system work station and remote monitoring capabilities meets the standards and contract documents.
Perform the commissioning, project start-up, and other field work by leading a 20 person Chinese team. Assigned responsibilities of identifying commissioning, start up issues and develop solutions for the same.

Analyse and reengineer production layouts, designing and implementing efficiency and quality improvements projects across production lines. Collaborate with different department teams to establish viable projects. Provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting.

• Be the Process engineer referent for new project and new development (technology and recipe) in France
• Created and implemented efficiency enhancements to generate more than 10% improvement through associated cost reductions.
