Lison Favard is a violinist born in Paris. She started the violin at the age of 5, trained by the best french professors: Isabelle Lesage, Marie-Christine Millière, Julien Vanhoutte, Christophe Poiget and Alexis Galpérine.

After receiving with honours the Prix du Conservatoire de Paris, in 2010, she entered the Royal College of Music of London in the class of Radu Blidar.

Lison, leading a busy and varied freelance performance career, is currently part of solo, chamber music and orchestral projects. As an orchestral player, she gained experience working under conductors such as Thierry Fisher, Sir Roger Norrington, John Wilson, Peter Stark, Martin André (…) in venues such as the Amaryllis Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, St Paul's cathedral, Salle Olivier Messiaen, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Opera de Paris. She also appeared on radio shows on France Musique or BBC radio London. An experienced and versatile performer, Lison is also performing in non classical context, working with many high profile artists, including Rod stewart, Patrice, Sarah Brightman or Swift Guad.

Since 2011, Lison is the first violin and founding member of the Cosmopolitan quartet, classically trained pop string quartet, which is performing across Europe.
