Inside the ESSILOR worldwide engineering department; in charge of the deployment of the industrial machinery in the whole production factories of the group (Asia/USA/EU)
-Specifications, supply and starting of production equipments following the requested performances, the group standardisation and the local definition,
-Industrialisation of production lines for new products.
-Equipments and process transfer between the world wide factories,
-Assistance, valuation & support to the facility and transversal projects (Benchmark, AMDEC, OEE study, Risks analysis, technical study & audit, best practices…)
-Activity transfer, training and support to the worldwide teams (ASIA & US)
Main Projects:
-Complete starting of a Polycarbonate production line in China (injection, coating, packing),
-Worldwide Roll out of new coating process for high index lenses,
-Study, installation & starting of a Hard Coating workshop in Mexico,
-Study and installation of a new automatic line of optic control, printing and packing lines,
-Deployment, follow-up and coordination of the finishing activities worldwide(Control, stamping, packaging)
-Packaging decision postponement (ERP coordination with packaging lines)
Projects management
-Sourcing, validation of a supplier(East Europe) and starting of a low cost hard coating line in Thailand (saving 2M$),
-Alternative identification system for lenses traceability,
-Industrialisation and worldwide roll out of the anti reflect identification,
