World Class Performance Engineer
Crown’s Continuous Improvement programme is called WCP.
Directly reporting to the WCP Manager and assisting with the implementation of Business Improvement Activities.
Principally looking at Manufacturing cost savings, systems development and implementation, management, monitoring and reporting.
Working closely with Production, Engineering and support functions to establish their needs and priorities. Projects successfully implemented to date include:
.Setting up of a database which enables the plant to have a comprehensive overview of materials consumption on the lines.
(savings of £100,000 in 2005)
.Part of the Lines control Improvement Team.

.Update/Review of the current Production reports.
.Promotion of Best Practices via the creation of a Standard Ops system.
.Reduction in change over times, SMED Activities.
.Line based Continuous Improvement Activities, utilising WCP tools and techniques: 6 Sigma, SPC, FMEA, SMED…
