Marco Diani is Senior Research Scientist at CNRS and Consultant.
SOCIOLOGIST & SOCIAL DESIGN CONSULTANT. Among his main research topics: political communication, “Knowledge society” and Internet, and comparative cultural policies.
Diani's research focuses in recent years on "DIGITAL CITIES" and TERRITORIAL INNOVATION. He is a member of several Scientific Committees and Boards, such as "5 Plus City Forum", "Ruralitic", "Printemps Numérique", among others.
FOUNDER or on the Editorial Board of several scientific publications, such as : Hermès; Human Nature; Mondo 3; Design Issues.
SENIOR RESEARCH AFFILIATE with the Center for Mobile Communication Studies, School of Communication, Information, and Library Studies at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
SPECIALITIES: Marco Diani has established and he is the scientific director of the international Summer School EXTRAPOLIS (www.extrapolis.org) and is the scientific Director of ERA, European Research Agency.
