En résumé

- The high school years :

From 12 to 16 years old I used to live in Madagascar. I felt in love there with rocks, minerals, landscape, and decided to become a geologist. In the mean time I was very keen on dancing, and I spent 12 hours a week in dancing. Living in Madagascar made also discover another reality : I met poverty, leprosy, and you fill harmless when you’re a teenager. When I turned back in France after graduating from high school, my father asked me “what do you want to do?”, and I answered “a professional dancer”. He said “and what else?” I said “vulcanologist”, and he told me “you will be a vulcanologist, girl !”.

I did not become a vulcanologist...

- With my Master in applied geophysics and geochronology and my Master in Computer for geological sciences I joined CGG in 1991: PetroSystems then FlagShip.

- I joined Paradigm in 2000.
* My position in the company is software team leader.
* I have been appointed to the position of Project Manager of OpenGeo. OpenGeo is Paradigm Epos software development kit.
* I'm also Paradigm expert in Data Modeling, designing Epos infrastructure business entities.

- But I've never stopped dancing...

- I have two children:
Charline '93, and Marin '96.

- My mother language is French.
I'm fluent in English, and I understand quite good Italian.
I'm learning spanish for three years now.

- I'm the vice-president of the Cultural and Sportive Club of my village. Each year I organize a Pala tournament (Pelote Basque).

- I'm a member of the Geosciences Club of Pau.

- I'm a member of GeolVal club (geological field trips in the Pyrenean mountains).

- From 2000 until today I'm one of Paradigm France staff representative (Staff spokeperson).
In the scope of this role:
- Must let the direction aware of issues, questions ...
- In charge also to manage an “event” budget during the year for all the staff.
- One meeting per month with the direction
- The direction must also consult the staff representatives for important changes or decisions.

    - Industrialisation of Petrophysical analysis application : 1991 – 1993

    1998 - 1999 CGG-Petrosystems, France
    Expert engineer
    CorSer (Corba services) development

    - Development of C++/CORBA (Orbix implementation) data servers for Exploration & Production softwares.
    - Development of libraries accessing seismic, and interpretation data, using Geoquest IESX and Charisma development kits, and OpenWorks/SeisWorks.
    - International support and training on CorSer
    - Training course and user support about functionalities, database and installation.

    1999 - 2000 Flagship,France
    Product coordinator
    Seismic stratigraphy-reservoir characterisation software

    - Specifications, coordination and communication between operation and production teams.
    - Support and training for Geoquest and Landmark connections (USA, Indonesia, Europa, China, Russia, Africa).

=> There was a lack of communication between support/operation team and R&D team. It was decided to create a “product coordinator” team with two different backgrounds: somebody coming from the operation, and somebody coming from R&D. Both should have effective communication skills. I have been chosen to represent the R&D part of the team due to my communication and coordination competences.

=> The “product coordinator” team experience ended with the sale of FlagShip to Paradigm. I was asked to stay in paradigm but to join again R&D as a senior software developer specialized in data access services and interoperability.
